  • Graduating students that have bioengineering skills and an entrepreneurial spirit

  • Stimulating innovation amongst students

  • Developing technologies that are affordable, accessible and available to the poor

  • Addressing health challenges that have a significant impact on the poor and their ability to help themselves

  • Establishing partnerships that enable the commercialisation of student technologies

  • Raising funds to support at least 3 – 5 students per year
